World renowned painter and art professor Leonid Gervits will teach students of all levels portraiture and composition in a beautiful naturally north lit studio. Students will learn how to trust their eye and hone their craft to capture unique personality of any subject.
Whether you are at the very beginning of your art career or a seasoned veteran of the brush everyone is welcome to join sessions. Every student will receive personalized attention and instruction tailored to their specific level and needs.

*Canvas- cotton or linon for portrait size not too big ( 12×18 18×18 18×24) for the Figure any size from 18×24 to 30×40
*Brushes: : Bristle brushes Series 1, #2 ,#4,#6,#8, #12
1” flat brush- Bristle or synthetic or sable
Palette Knife (trowel-type, long and thin)
*Palette Cups: Two: *one for solvent and the other for medium
*Solvents: Turpenoid or Spike. No Turpenoid Naturale, turpentine,or Mineral Spirits.
Medium: Liquin or 922 medium, or copal medium ( whatever you prefer)
*Palette: Grey palette (disposable, or make your own with plexiglass backed by grey paper and cardboard ), or wooded palette.
*Paints : Gambling , Blue ridge Winsor Newton, Old Holland, or other professional grade
*Flake white or Titanium white
